About
LiquidPlastic.net
LiquidPlastic.net was created to
unite a multicultural society of women under one commonality …
Sisterhood!
The American Heritage Dictionary defines Sisterhood as follows:
1) the state or relationship of being a sister or sisters, 2)
the quality of being sisterly, 3) a society, especially a
religious society, of women, 4) association or unification of
women in a common cause.
We believe that sisters should not be judged by their beliefs or who
they desire to be, or the color of their skin. Therefore, I choose
the last definition “association or unification of women in a
common cause”, because it moves us past all the things that
has stigmatized and separated women as a whole.
OUR HISTORY
February 1, 2007 is our beginning, as we are currently building our
history. To read about the founder click here!
THE MISSION OF LIQUIDPLASTIC.NET
Our mission is to build a Sisterhood that speaks to the
commonalities of all women. We may not all look alike, or believe
the same, but the one thing we have in common is, we are the
procreators, we are the mothers of the world; we are women. We will
build a network of women, regardless of race, creed, color, sexual
preferences, or beliefs, which will enable us to have a better
quality of life for our individual and collective families.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
A great Sisterhood forges a union that is both professional and
personal. We must nurture that relationship by encouraging and
supporting each other on whatever level necessary. We must help each
other understand the issues relating to women, and help conquer
common problems, which will enrich our individual and/or shared
lives.
OUR COMMITMENT TO SISTERHOOD
We will provide superior mentoring services, which means listening
closely to each other, and dedicating ourselves to the success of
the Sisterhood, and individual sisters. We will always try to
anticipate the needs of our fellow sisters and help them achieve
their goals.
OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR DAUGHTERS
Our greatest asset is our daughters. We will be both first and best
in defending and protecting our daughters from abuse. We will be
constantly accessible but keep an open mind. We will protect the
weak, listen to the voiceless and endeavor to make sense of the
pains our daughters are suffering as young children, teenagers, and
young women --- in a world where they are degraded and used by an
abusive society. In our defense, of our daughters, we will unmask
wrongdoing, and bring the truth to light.
OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR SONS
Our sons are another one of our greatest asset. We are committed to
fostering an open and supportive relationship with the men in our
lives. We must encourage teamwork, initiative and individual growth.
We will stress accountability and reward good performance. At the
same time, we realize that risk-taking is fundamental to our success
in teaching our sons to respect the women in their lives; one of the
reasons being is that they are controlled by the “good old boy
system of thinking”, but we cannot, nor will not give up.
DIVERSITY
Our success depends on creating an environment that embraces mutual
respect, acceptance of differences and the desire to help all
sisters reach their full potential.
ETHICS
The LiquidPlastic.net Sisterhood will be honest and demonstrate
integrity in everything it does.
OUR MEMBERSHIP
To fulfill our mission, we must continue to set a standard for
long-term profitability, by first and foremost, networking with the
Sisterhood of LiquidPlastic.net. For additional information read our
TOS. |
| What differentiates our sisterhood
is the commonalities that make us all
aware that we are individuals, while being one, at the
same time.
We will not judge, although it is quite useful to observe
and have an opinion of that which we observe. Realizing that
there is a thin line between the two, we will thread
lightly. |
